Today we spent six hours onboard a wildlife and glacier boat tour of the Kenai Fjords National Park which sits west of the town of Seward where we are now staying.
The sun shone all day (rare for Seward), the water was calm, the wildlife performed and the scenery was spectacular!

Hi, Amanda. I’m enjoying your blog as usual! I am in Alaska too. I started to comment earlier as it appears we’re following a similar path but I see now you’re in Seward. I’m not sure how long you will be there but I will be there tomorrow and leaving Sunday for Anchorage and then Fairbanks. Enjoy your trip!

LeAnn. Simply wonderful to hear from you! I hope that you and the family are doing well.
What a small world that we should both be in Alaska at the same time – what an amazing place this state is and I hope that you too are enjoying it and all that it has to offer.
Wishing you a very happy and enjoyable trip. We went to Fairbanks on Tuesday as it was pouring with rain in Denali – didn’t get to see the northern lights but fingers crossed you will!
Wishing you all the best and so lovely to hear from you.
